For Nashville, Kiplinger forecasts job growth of 2.8 percent, with particular growth in accounting and financial services.

The report, which does not rank the 11 cities individually, also cites Chattanooga, which stands to receive a major boost from Volkswagen’s new production facility there. Kiplinger projects 3.4 percent job growth in Chattanooga this year.

The other metros rounding out Kiplinger’s list of comeback cities are:

Orlando
Jacksonville
Charlotte, N.C.
Flint, Mich.
Las Vegas
Phoenix
Portland, Ore.
Seattle
San Jose, Calif.
