Nashville’s undervalued real estate makes it another city where purchasing a home is more affordable than renting, according to Trulia.

“Prices are so far below where they were several years ago that you can now buy cheaper than you can rent,” said Marcie Sweet, a realtor at Keller Williams Realty. “I just sold a typical ‘McMansion’ of 5,000-plus square feet here in Nashville for $799,000 that would have sold for close to a million just a few years ago.”
